Anthony's movie review: Finding Dory

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to my movie review.

Since i like Pixar films that i saw as a kid like Toy Story, Bug's life and Cars. But one film i always love to watch is Finding Nemo, its one of the must successful movie back in 2003 and its also a best selling film of DVD with 40 million copies, it has a likable characters, great animation and a good story.

After 13 years, Andrew Stanton decided to make sequel to focusing with Dory, since we might be curious about her memory loss. I mean, since i watched Nemo, i always like Dory, she's one of likable character that she always made us laughing and its all thanks to our favorite comedic actress and host of her own show Ellen DeGeneres.

With all that said, can this film holds up for a good sequel, or is it gonna be a bad one since Cars 2?

Lets find out.

The story
It takes place one year after the first film. Our main amnesiac fish Dory is now part of family with Marlin and Nemo. Suddenly, she remembers her parents that she wanted to reunite with, despite she's alone and helped Marling to found Nemo. However, she was taken to public aquarium in California. So not only Dory has to finding her parents, but Marlin and Nemo going to...   Well, Finding Dory.
The story feels like the first film, but in opposite direction, but much more better that i watched. There's even a subplot where Dory reunites with her old friends like Destiny and Bailey, even though why it has that, but im ok for that. About the gags, i did laugh which some jokes that works, not much else to say.

For me, the story was great, not about the searching, its all about a reunion of old family and old friends. I mean when you grow up to adult to a new apartment, we know how we feel, we really want to hang out your family if they're getting old or even looking back about our old friends. we like to hang out for conversation from the past or even play each other. If we're grow old, we'll probably missed them to not only move apartment, but also if your parents passed away, we'll emotionally miss them. and for friends, its not easy when you're young, without your old friends from your school or kindergarten, it will be very sad. I mean, i lost several or them when i grew to a teenager or even finish my secondary school in this year, il probably miss them when im moved on. Unless if we have Facebook account.

The animation
Well, what do you say about Pixar, its another type of film with a great view. Well, its more like an updated version of the first movie, but improvement. Especially with a new location, since it takes place next to California. The one part i like is the animation of Hank the octopus, its thanks to a stealth, they did a great job of him. But they said that animating of Hank is the hardest work. It may be tough, but still a good job. They did a same work since before like how the fishes move or even the expression from a dog's eye's and eye brows. And the background is always beautiful for the public aquarium and in the ocean.
There's not much to say, it still a good animation film of Pixar.

The characters
The characters are great and its nice to bring them back.

First there's Dory an amnesiac regal blue tang, like said, i like her, she always made me laugh in the first film. In the sequel, she's kinda changing of a comedic character to a sympathy, we know how she feels, like i said, we always want to reunite our old family since we grew up that we moved on. But still, Ellen did a great job and im pretty sure its her fav character in Pixar films.

Then there's Marlin (voice by returned Albert Brooks) and Nemo (voiced by Hayden Rolence who replaced Alexander Gould since he grew up.), they're my fav, since i like clown fish. Even Marlin is a bit the same as before that he was always overprotective and worry for losing, he did build up like find a new way in aquarium public. For Nemo, hie development is changing lonely kid to a brave kid since the first film, but Nemo could've been an interesting development.

For the new characters, i find them pretty interesting.

First is Hank a cranky red octopus (voiced by Ed O'Neill), i find him pretty cool, since he's a like a ninja octopus with his stealth ability and he's also pretty smart like human does or even hiding in the spot and for his hearts. He's like an octopus version of Solid Snake from Metal Gear series.

Next there's Destiny, a whale-shark with a near blurred view (voiced by Kaitlin Olson), I gotta say, she looks pretty cute and nice with Dory. Even though she was nearly blind that she accidentally hits the wall. And sometimes losing her patients for count to be ready. ^^;

And there's Bailey, a beluga whale (voiced by Ty Burrell), this whale has a special ability too, but he nearly has echolocation because he had a concussion. For me, he's rather an ok character in the movie, even though its strange like the scene where we're in his mind for his ability to feel like computer binocular.

These guys are likely a replacement of Gill and his friend in the dentist from the first movie.

For the others like Fluke's and his sea loin friends, they're pretty funny, but they only have a small appearance. And for Dory's parents, they're pretty nice and kind, and i feel bad for them since they lost Dory for a long years. :(

As for the old casts like Mr. Ray, the students, Crush and the others, like Flukes, they only have a small appearance like in the first act. Pretty shame for them.

Even though some of them have a lackluster, but its nice to come back and always fun for them. ^^

Oh yeah, before for my final opinion, since this is a Pixar film, there's a short film called "Piper". I gotta say, its one of the most adorable short i've ever watch and it was amazing work of animation. It will be like 10/10 for adorableness. Im pretty sure every girls will love to see it. ^w^

Anyway, final opinion of the film.
Overall, it may not be greatest than the first one, but its also a great animation film i've ever watched. With wonderful story, fun characters and a beautiful animation. Not to mention, the film actually beat Independence day: Resurgence and Captain America Civil film for a box-office success. But, its one of the most successful film in China thanks to our anticipation.
If you like Finding Nemo, this one is for you. If you seen Finding Dory than Nemo, im pretty sure you watched to soon. No offense. ^^;

Since i like the first film that i'l like give it 10/10. In this sequel, likei said, it may not be masterpiece, but its still great, il also give this movie a 10/10.

Anthony's game review: Senran Kagura: Estival Versus

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to a game review.

You know, i played many games that are made in western, like i played Project CARS, Bioshock and even Overwatch.

But then there's a game franchise that was famous in Japan that it was never brought over in western, that is Senran Kagura.

For those you don't know if i ever began...  Senran Kagura is a game franchise with ninja girls (aka female Shinobi) with fan-service with a multiple of jiggle physics and nudity with no exposure nips. ^^;

Although the story was about an adventure with four group of ninja girls like Hanzo academy, Homura Crimson Squad, Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy and Gessen Girls Academy.

Well, i've never played them, which most of them was only released in Japan, but some are also available in western. But the first one that i played was Estival Versus.

This game came out in 2015 in Japan, and once again, it was brought over in western at March 15 2016.

So, can this game will be interesting to give us a chance, or is it embarrassing to watch and play?

Lets find out.

For the story, it takes place after Shinovi Versus, where two girls Ryobi and Ryona went to a funeral for their dead sister name Ryoki who died from Blood Riot. But not before they mysteriously went to a beach that they found her who's revived. Meanwhile many ninja groups who's mysteriously taken to a mysterious beach, lead by an elder woman name Sayuri. The reason for that, its because its for a contest festival between a rival schools, including a new ones called  Mikagura sisters. So the group of ninja girls have no choice but going to challenging with any groups for the summer festival contests.

I find the story is interesting, its kinda like a band battle for the best group to become star kinda like MLP EQ: Raibow Rocks, except with ninja girls in a sexy fighting festival. Even though its kinda weird for that, but hey, its a Japanese idea of the story.

For the gameplay, its not much to say, its likely a beat'em up game. Unlike Warriors franchise with a epic war, this one goes to a sexy war, you pretty much mash your weak attack weak button or even do a strong attack, not matter which character you play that they have a different strong attack and some special attack. And speaking of specials, if you have some can, they can do a "Shinobi transformation" that they can change to "Shinobi Outfit" or even in lingerie. Unless there's some secret outfits to get it or maybe you want to get some DLC outfits. Not mention, everytime to hack and slash your enemy, they lose their clothes in their underwears that you'll easily knock them down. Unless if you're surrounded by them, you can clear them up by pressing down of the D-pad, but it drains your health, which is unfair. Not to mention about KO, there's a secret KO background that you'll find an explanation sign that if you do, you get a small cutscene where they get knocked out in a various way like being wrapped in a net, being rided with a banana boat or even getting stuck on a poster with a butt.

The control is hard and slippery. Which when you turn your camera, it moves little bit faster where you wanna look behind or even attempt to get the items like the bombshells. And some that its heard to do a move that to do a reverse attack, you have to press or tap your block button. there a few that you can do a special attack that it works with L1 with square, triangle or circle (If you have five enough) or even buttons combo like doing an aerial attack. Unless you're better than me for this game, thats fine, but it maybe hard to control.

The graphics looks beautiful and cute. Which its mostly an anime on CGI. The background looks beautiful like in the beach, it feels like that we wanna take a shiny vacation. Speaking of shine, there's too much brightness if you play in front of TV, there's too much white that makes my eyes bleeding. Like AVGN, how much more of white color could be? The answer is none. I highly suggest you wear a sunglasses while you playing it. As for the character designs, most of the models feels the game but different, which some characters, mainly because most of girls has a big boobs and some doesn't have it, but rather a big butt. Unless i like they have a shiny skin, i think they use a special soap to make them shiny. And like i said earlier, they have no exposure of nips and Shit. Unless some who puts a tape or a band-aid to cover them.

Speaking of the characters, Im pretty sure you may or may not familiar with them. If you never heard of, il give an example and give my opinion what i like or not. This is gonna take a long list for them. For the groups, il pick like five of three of them.

First we have a main group called Hanzo academy. This academy was created over nearly 100 years ago by Japanese Government for the politics. With third, second and third years students.

The main character of Hanzo was Asuka, a third year student who wants to follow the footsteps of her grandfather to be a great ninja. She's an upbeat girl, but she may be naive and kinda clumsy. And she also hates frogs because her family summoned any animals for some reason. Her main weapon is a double Ninjato from her grandfather and she has a power of earth.
 I can say, she's an interesting character. Even though its cliche about the young one who wants to be like its parents did before for a brave hero.

The second member Ikaruga, a third year student who's mature, supportive and have a serious business for a ninja. She's also an adopted daughter from her wealthy parents. And for some reason, she has her brother to be a ninja too, but failed. Despite that, she also have the abilty to summon a Phoenix and she has a fire ability. Also her main weapon was Hien, which it was given after her father.
I find her pretty cool, with fire power and her cool Shinobi outfit.

The third member is Katsuragi, a third year student who's likely known being a pervert to enjoying fondling boobs like Asuka. I guess its common to have anime perverts for any reason, but have as female perverts is a different story like Katsuragi herself. Anyway, despite that, she's also be strongest of the group, which her family was lost that either they ran away or killed themselves without her. But not before she revealed that her pants was planned to  assassinate Kurokage, but left her all alone before adopted. She has a wind ability, she can summoning a dragon and her weapon is a pair of gold-plated greaves thanks to her power.
I find her pretty interesting, despite that she's a pervert for any girls for boobies. Which im fine for a lesbian pervert, unlike some girls who wants man's Dieck. No offense, ints only my opinion... ^^;

Fourth member is Yagyu, a first year who's a ninja prodigy, a friend with Hibari and a protective girl at any costs. Plus she's wearing eye patch because...   I don't know, maybe she got stabbed or gun-shot? Yeah, its hard to tell why she's wearing, especially she wears it because her young sister who sadly died from a fatal car crash or maybe a monster in her head. (Spoiler Alert?) Anyway, she has ice and water power and she even summons a giant squid. (Oh boy... 0_0) And her main weapon is an umbrella with a multiple of weapons. Geez, how many weapon she has in her umbrella? Thats like if i put every shotgun bullets in a lightsaber as a pocket.
Either way, she's rather cool, but rather mixed opinion for me.

Finally there's Hibari, a first year student who loves cute stuff. Even though she's much as being childish and clumsy. Even though she has no weapon (I think), she summons a big pink bunny and she has a lightning power. And she's the only character who has no tragic backstory.
Even though i find her pretty cute, but i think i've a multiple of cute girls before... ^^;

Next up is Homura Crimson Squad, a group who's been separated from  Hebijō Academy to create their elite ninja group by Homura herself.

The leader of the group is Homura, a leader of her own group and an evil ninja to fight for the death. She's wielding a three swords in one hand like Wolverine's claws and she has fire ability. Despite she was banished from her family because she killed one student in Hanzo academy in anime.
I mean wow, she's the most badass ninja girl i've ever heard. She could be like my fav ninja girl in the franchise.

The second member is Yomi, a girl who's rather calm, slow and she loves dark stuff. And she's overly obsessed with bean sprouts that she puts almost every food on her dinner. Thats like you put too much salts in your lunch... ^^;  Despite that, she has a big sword and a crossbow in her wrist (kinda like in Assassin's Creed.).
Even though she's cool, but i find that she's too far for her obsession of bean sprouts, since she accidentally killed her family for that. Talk about a stupidest way... 0_o

The third member is Hikage, a mysterious girl with snake-like personality (which she sticks her tongue out and lick something.) and her main weapon is a multiple of knives.
Personally, i find her kinda creepy, its like "Is it just me or she's Japanese Miley Cyrus?".

The fourth member is Mirai, a small young girl that she's like Yagyu, but in opposite direction, especially she has a friggin Gun in her dress or umbrella! Wow, what a badass young girl, i guess it explained why she fought back at the bullies turning into a dark girl before joining a group. 0_0

The fifth and final member is Haruka, a scientist who's fascinated with puppets and mixing potions to toying at people's inhibitions. She created a big robot behind her big lab coat with multiple of weapons and an explosives chemicals. However, she's been diagnosed with twisted mental from her past, because her mom used her for a dress-up doll. Even though i find her beautiful, but i think she's little bit crazy that she wanted to kill her mom ever since she called her a doll.

Then there's Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, an evil academy with a rival between them and Hanzo Academy.

First is Miyabi, a third year student with dark powers with Seven-Pronged Demon Blade. She is one serious evil ninja with prideful and confident. And many people think that she looks like a boy, but she hates them what they're thinking, i mean cmon, didn't they see her boob? Well, sure she has a deep female voice to fitting her, but give her a break, or otherwise "I will find you...  And i will kill you..."
Needless to say, she's pretty cool as an evil ninja.

Next there's Imu, also a third year student who's Miyabi's friend from the past. Its mainly becuse they both had a seriously injured when they're young for seek their revenge to be in Hebijo Academy. Her main weapon is her staff and lightning power.
I gotta say, she has a cool outfit and badass like Miyabi, but she also wearing a glasses.

Finally there's Murasaki, a second year student (If not a student that she was not used to be in) and Imu's young sister who's probably fragile and lonely girl, because she likes to play with her teddy bear called "Bebeby" in her dark room and even "speaking" to anyone with it. In other words, she's like Fluttershy in MLP, which they both fragile and soft voice. The difference is that Fluttershy is friendly with animals with kindness, while Murasaki loves dark things (especially living in her dark room), her weapon is a Shuriken and she has a sense ability with her nose is better than her eyes. (Really?)
Even though she's cute, she's kinda depressing. And for some reason, she has a biggest breast in the franchise.

There's also two transfer students in Shivoni versus like Ryona and Ryobi, a twin sisters who came from Shijuku Gessen Jogakkan and they both wielding guns. The difference is Ryona is much as a show off bust with masochist, which making upset like Ryobi. As for Ryobi, she's much as being sadistic for motivating of hurting people. Although Ryobi is interesting and i feel like she's kinda like me and Ryona, i can say that she's a huge Bitch. Because she loves being bullied and insulted, what bitchy douchy.

And finally there's Gessen Girls' Academy, Its like Hebijo Academy, but with a good ninjas with a famous families.

First is Yumi, a third year student and a leader of the group with ice powers with a snow spider and her weapon is a fan. With her name like that, she has a cool personality with a fighting style of Japanese dancing fight. However, her family was killed when she was young, until she was rescued by Kurokage that she'll become a good ninja. But he's dead that she's in charge of the group.

Although she has a different Shinobi outfits, but i find her pretty "Cool", right?  Yeah... Im sorry for a bad pun....

Next is Murakumo, another third year student who wears a mask because she's way too shy to show her actual face. Or maybe its because her face is pretty fragile. She also has a wolf packs to attack anyone and her weapons is a large cleaver and a snake-styled spear.
Although she looks cool, but why didn't she bother to wear her mask, i guess she doesn't want to reveal her secret identity of her cute face. ^^;

Then there's Yozakura, a second year student who's much as being serious with no humor. Its due to the fact she wants vengeance with her rage. She's the oldest from 12 siblings (Wow, thats a lot of kids. 0_0) and her main weapon is a big piston-powered gloves to deal a big damages.
Even though she's interesting, but even its strange that she has like 12 siblings. ^^;

Then, its Shiki, a first year student and the youngest member of the team and on the series with her age of 15. She has a valley girl accent, since she speaks in other language like English (Or French in the subtitle for whatever reason. >_>) and she was trained by one of her student in her group like Yumi or sometimes Murakumo. She's often using her phone for inappropriate time. Despite she has a dark power like summoning bats (Since her Shinobi outfit looks Japanese Vampirella.), her main weapon is her double-edge Scythe.
Despite of a bit similar to Vampirella, but she's like my fav student of Gessen.

Finally there's Minori, a first year student childish cheerful and friendly girl who likes to play around, especially she's a friend with Yozakura. He main weapon is her bucket with cute stuff and her frying pan for crush them down with a giant pancakes.
I have to admit, she's pretty cute that she's kinda like Pinkie Pie.

There's a two more characters in the franchise like Daidoji, a graduated student of Hanzo and one of the most badass girl and Rin who's a teacher of Hebijo Academy (Sometimes work with Homura Crimson Squad.) after quitting Hanzo and become a Super Ninja. Although they're like in friends, but they never make a story appearance in Estival Versus.

There are five new characters for the story.

Like Ryoki, a deceased sister of Riobi and Ryona who's been revived with a blue halo. But if her halo was touched, it changes into a negative mode with brutality and swearing. I guess she's supposed to be a main plot of the game, but she's almost being absent for the other characters.

Then there's lady Sayuri, an 81 year old grandmother of Asuka. But not before she can transforms into a younger woman as "Jasmine" with her big pipe and she can summoning her pet elephant. (Well, spoiler Alert if you haven't complet the story. ^^;)

Finally there's Mikagura sisters, they made their debut in this game of the franchise.

There's Renka, the eldest of the sisters that she has the spirit of a true Tokyoite, she hates cute stuff and her main weapon is that i think its her Japanese drum sticks.

Then there's Hanabi, a girl who's trying to think herself, she also likes explosion of fireworks, especially she likes to go "Kaboom!". And she's also love belly dancing, which no matter her sisters can do that, they made her going in LOL. XD

And finally there's Kafuru, a young sister with water power with summoning dolphin. Even though she can be immature young girl for an argument, since she has a mental inferior.

Even though these characters are great, despite some of them are mixed that whether they're likable for me or not.

And now for my final opinion of the game.
Overall, Senran Kagura Estival Versus is an interesting game with beautiful graphics, fun gameplay (Even though its repetitive.) and some good characters. While the story was great, but i though that the main plot is about a reunion of Ryoki for her sisters, but i might be wrong.
If you like anime, video games or maybe sexy anime girls, its for you. If not, you probably wish you should never play if'tr like younger than 18 with your parents. ^^;

So im gonna give this game for 8/10.

Anthony's game review: Overwatch

Note: This review was originally to be after GP Monaco, but i decided to wait for few days later. Thank you.



Well, this gonna be  my first review with Blizzard, the company that we all know and love that they made World of Warcraft and Starcraft (I wonder if they made a WoW version of Starcraft, it would be awesome too.).

Although i've never play them ,but i did played the first and two Starcraft games, which they're great, even though im only a fanboy of age of Empires. 

But then, Blizzard decided to make an online shoot'em up game that is Overwatch, a 2016 game game we praised for our anticipation, since they  introduced a new characters in the game called "Heroes of the storm".

With all that said, can this game will be a best Blizzard work of 2016, or is it gonna be a trainwreck of controversies?

Lets find out.

Like i said before in my thoughts of Beta, its similar game style of Team Fortress 2, but completely different, like rather than fight your player opponents, you can team up with players to fight against the AI, it has a customized match and even weekly brawl match that whether is with obstacle or even a rivalry like Genji vs Hanzo or even Widowmaker vs Tracer. There four type of matches, Assault is a capturing location points to fight against these defenders, Escort is kinda like TF2 bomb match where you bring a vehicle to the enemies base, Assault/Escort is a mix with two type of matches where you capture a location and escort the vehicule to the enemies base and control that is kinda like King of the hill match with 2 or 3 rounds to win the battle.

Even though its fun at first, but gets repetitive that you'll live in the same map that is a little bit short since it has 12 maps. It makes you wish you want to play other type of match like Oddball, capture the flag, moving King of the hills or Slayer. I guess its because Blizzard try not to make this boring as Call of Duty or even Halo.

For the graphic, it looks pretty cool and it kinda looks like a work of Pixar or even Dreamworks with the character designs. The backgrounds are pretty impressive for the Sci-fi game, with desert like Route 66 with hover-cars, a futuristic studio of Hollywood, and even half steampunk of King's Row. They did a great job for a Sci-Fi concept. And of course, we all know the controversy of Tracer's butt from before that result an outcry of SJW for Nothing. Or maybe some people felt that her early pose wasn't as good for her personality. Because of that, they decided to make a new pose that not only beat SJW, but also based on a vintage cheesecake pin-up pose. Pretty creative, guys.

But sometimes that found a glitch like when i died as Bastion, my head fall through the world that i can a sky through the ground.

As for the characters, they're pretty interesting that even some of them has one weapon or some has two weapons (Like Mercy for example that she has potion staff and a single pistol.). They're 6 of them are offense, 6 of defenders, 5 of tanks and 4 supporters, in total, it has 21 type of characters in the game. Thats a lot than TF2. For my fav offense that i played, it will be Pharah, Reaper, Soldier 76 and Tracer (Even though i wish i could play others like Genji or McCree. ), as for defenders, it will be Bastion, Junkrat, Torbjorn and Widowmaker, for Tanks, it will be D.Va and Roadhog and for supporters, im not sure about them, i like Zenyatta and Mercy. And unlike TF2 characters, these guys has their ultimate move like Soldier 76 will easily shoot you down with his special vision, Winston going rampage if his glasses is broken, Bastion turn into a tank or even Mercy revives you (Heroes never dies!).

But sometimes, the characters can be unfair to kill them. For example, Bastion can turn into a turret form to easily defends the location with a friggin chaingun that you'll lose all your health. Another example is Mei (I know that she's cute, but hear me out.) although she only has a freezing gun, but she can also block her opponents with her wall of ice or even Reinhardt uses his big shield, despite that he's a huge target. Or others that is outright unfair to survive yourself, like when D.Va put a self-destruct of her mecha, it explode with more megaton that you'll never able to run far away from that.

As for the bad thing about this game? Aside from a repetitive maps and matches, the game also has a microtransaction of loot boxes. Yup, its another type of game that has a thing that we hate so much. But these loots as a microtransaction? No, this is just stupidly lazy, why we wanna waste our wallet to buy these box. I mean i don't care about those junks, i want to leveling up to get a new loot box to have a new paints, new skin or costumes, new icon, new pose or even a new highlights to introduce the characters. Stupid microtransaction...   But the game doesn't have a campaign gameplay, instead, the story only shows in the trailer or even a introduction of the game. Which the story tells at the origins that there's protection of the world called "Overwatch" by United Nation to stop the evil force called "Omnic Crisis" which they want to taking over humanity. Despite Overwatch kept saving, but they cause a lot troubles with accusations of corruption and sedition, which result that many people turned against them and Overwatch was destroyed for the terrible accident. However, it was believed due to an argument of the members to end Overwatch, even though it may or may not be confirmed for UN. 
I gotta say, its kinda like a mix between Terminator and Marvel's Civil War which is a story about the team saved the world, but cause a lot of controversies of accidentally kill those villagers. Aside some cliche's but i kinda like the origins, despite the game also has a pre-order origins skin characters like i luckily have them free.

Overall, Overwatch is a fun game and it could be a great game by Blizzard. It has an interesting gameplay (Despite its getting tiring.), great graphics and fun characters. Even though the game has not contents what we want like ranks, upgrade weapons, story gameplay and even has a microtransaction. Even though t eh game came out with $60 in retail store, but in game stores, its expansive like $80. So i bought the copy in retail, but hey, its less expansive than Doom 2016 had.

Now i though il give 10 or 8 out of 10. But since i like Overwatch with characters, backgrounds and somewhat fun gameplay, i decided to give it a 9/10.
Even though some people are disappointed to be good like give it 8 or 7 out of 10, im ok for their opinion sine it has some flaws.

It may or may not be the best game of the year, but we'll find out that Blizzard add some new characters and other contents

Anthony's movie review: Captain America Civil War

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to my movie review. Well, im going back to Marvel films. Specifically, Marvel Cinematic Universe, like i said last year, i am a big fan of it, it has likable characters and great action movies.

But this time, this one is going to a brawl between the members of The Avengers. Which is the movie that il review it, because i expecting to see a great superheroes battle. It was directed by the Russo brothers (Anthony and Joe who also did with Winter Soldier.), produced by Kevin Fiege and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

So, can this movie will be a great Royal Rumble, or is it gonna be disappointed as Batman V Superman?

Lets find out.

The story
Ever since The Avengers is in the mission to fight the bad guys, but things is going down of hill. After Scarlet Witch accidentally threw Crossbones (aka Brock Rumlow) with her telekinetic power, he blew next to a monument of Wakandan, causing to kill the workers and it got controversial news. Because of that, Thaddeus Ross a man who charge in fictional U.S. Secretary of State (I say fictional, because in reality, it was charged by John Kerry.) is informing that United Nation is going to control The Avengers that its either accept or retire them. Tony Stark is support them after a many times that he and the members of The Avengers that they cause a disaster in various countries. But Steve Rogers refused it, because he wants his team to be safe from UN. So The Avengers was separated for the ultimate combat from the protection of politics.
As you may not know, it was based on the comic with a same name that was originally written by Mark Millar. Despite the same concept, it also add a subplot that was involve with Bucky Barnes (aka The Winter Soldier) who killed someone who got the serum and Bucky has to deal with his nemesis, a Slovakian terrorist name Helmut Zemo.
The story itself is impressive and i gotta say, it has a better truth than Batman V Superman. You heard that DC universe, Marvel did it right! Despite the similarity, its much more fun with 5 vs 5 or six heroes.

The production
Im not sure to say, the production is always great for MCU. It has a great action scenes and even a cool looking costumes. For example, for Vision, it was done with motion capture, because of his skin colors of texture and few other like the actors where jumping around behind the blue screen if you seen it on Facebook, even though it has a good stunt scene with a string or some its just a low jump. ^^; Some that i was surprised like Tony Stark's wrist armor when he fight Bucky or even a size of Ant-man that it find it surprisingly cool. But the only problem is that some scene is almost spoiling like War Machine has been blast down and almost die, i mean come on, don't spoiled it that many people thinks that he's dead. However, they said that this is the last Captain America standalone movies with trilogy, although they still have a plan for next movies with him in Infinite War part 1 and 2.
The production is always great like before, but they could've avoid some spoiler scene in the trailer.

The characters
Im pretty sure you're familiar with all these characters.

First there's Captain America aka Steve Rogers (Played by Chris Evans.). Even though im not a fan of him, but he's a great hero. He has super strength, overly protective with powerful shield which he can see faster for some reason... ^^; Even though i never seen two previous Captain America movies, but hey, he's interesting that Chris did a great job.

Next there's Iron Man aka Tony Stark (Played by Robert Downey Jr.), he's my personal fav hero in Marvel Universe, he's genius with technology and he has a sense of humor thanks to Downey's role. I mean he's like a show stealer to enjoy the movie. But in this movie, he's a main antagonist that he's a tyrant of UN like in the comic, but im ok for that to follow the story. Robert Downey, you're always did a great job for his role. Oh btw, he's still going his role in the forth Iron Man, thats a bonus. :)

Then there's Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff (Played by Scarlett Johansson), she's also my fav hero in the movie that not only she's beautiful, but she's pretty badass with agility and her gadgets since she worked as a spy and a former of  S.H.I.E.L.D.. Even though i still want her own standalone movie... But meh, at least Johansson has always a great role.

Next is Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier (played Sebastian Stan). Like Steve Rogers, i never seen his previous films, but i find him pretty badass and outright brutal, despite that he's an anti-hero and a friend with Steve Rogers. Even though he was disappeared before, until he returned with a powerful robot arm on his left.

There a few other heroes like Hawkeye (played by Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) Ant-Man (The one that i mentioned before that he was played by Paul Rudd.), Falcon (another one that i mentioned before that he was played by Anthony Mackie), War Machine (played by Don Cheadle) and Vision (played by Paul Bettany). But they also brought newcomers like Black Panther and of course, Spider-man.

For Black Panther aka T'Challa (played Chadwick Boseman), i find him an interesting character, despite he's supposed to be a character with sympathy since he wanted to save his father T'Chaka. But he could've introducing in his own movie than Civil War, but i guess im ok for that, il wait for his own movie.

For Spider-man aka Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), Spider-man is the character it has been debated for the best role, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland. I remembered Tobey's role that i though he had a great role when i was young. Looking back as i grew up, he always have a great role. As for Andrew, he find him an interesting role since he played "The amazing Spider-man", which he almost steal the show. But now we have Tom Holland, despite he's young with 19 year old, but i think he did a great job for his role, so i can't wait to see his own movie in MCU of "Spider-Man Homecoming".

Finally there's another antagonist in the movie, Helmut Zemo, played by...  Daniel Bruhl? A same guy who played Niki Lauda from Rush? Well, i guess this is the second time i mention him. Although he's cool and did a great job, but the only disappointed part of him is that he doesn't wear his signature costume like his mask in the comic, it didn't happen until the future films of MCU.

And if you're wondering about Stan Lee's cameo, he's in the movie, because...  We love Stan Lee. ^^

And now for my final opinion of the film.
Overall, Captain America Civil War is impressive film with a Royal Rumble superheroes with interesting story, likable characters as always and the production is great and as always, it has a fun sense of humor. Even though some that was disappointing like the absent of Zemo's mask and some scene in trailer is almost spoiling. And boy, this movie is been over two in half hours like Batman V Superman. If you're a fan of Marvel or a fan of superheroes battle Royal, this one is for you. Its much more better than Batman V Superman.

Since im a fan of Marvel, i give this movie a 9/10.

Anthony's game review: Doom 2016

Warning: The following review contains violent and disturbing content. And its also focus on PS4 (Which i have one). Readers description advised.



Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to game review.

We played a lot of FPS games in our times, Call of Duty, Halo, Serious Sam, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake and so on. But there's one FPS game that was considered to be a goriest game ever made, that is Doom.

Doom is an early example of ultra-violent FPS game that was made by id software with John Romero back in 1993. Its one of the most popular and controversial game in history that it has a sequel one year like with Doom 2 and Doom 3 for 10 years later.

I remembered play Doom 2 on XBOX 360, it was pretty fun, even though it was hard to play, even though i'd rather play a PC version. And of course, it was announced that there's a development of Doom 4. However, it has a hell development for the story, the game mechanic and the publisher, until they start over to make it as a reboot in 2013. I was kinda disappointed, but il find out about the reboot, which it will be in our current gen like XBOX One, PS4 and PC.

And now the game finally came out that i finally bought it to gave a shoot.

So, can this game will be a good reboot for the first Doom, or is it gonna be disappointing as 343's Halo or Destiny?

Lets find out.

I never noticed that the game came out on Beta with multiplayer like Star Wars Battlefront EA or even Overwatch. But i heard that the Beta version wasn't as good because it feels like id version of Halo, but i've never try it.

Anyway, the gameplay itself is not much to say, its just a FPS game. Unlike some games that you carry two weapons only, you can carry every weapons like the original did. You start using a pistol, which surprisingly it was unlimited of ammo, which it works well, until it became useless at later that you pick up a shotgun, a heavy rifle and even a good'ol Chainsaw. But the chainsaw is limited of fuel which is shame, i guess its because they make it like in real life. Speaking of melee, you can even do a melee attack, if you make your enemy being stopped and weak, you can do a fatality melee. Its bloody and cool, but it might be old if you used it a lot. But it helps that give you an ammo and extra health. Like the original, you cannot reload your weapon to keep you magazines, instead you need to find more ammos to kill them. The weapons are interesting, even though i haven't get them at later. And before you ask, yes, the BFG 9000 is in the game, but i won't tell where it is. The game is not only a FPS, but also a First-person platform, which is little bit hard to challenge to jump and climbing, but hey, at least its better than Duke Nukem Forever.

The enemy design looks cool and much more creepier than before, especially with Revenant, it looks pretty scary that it will hunt you dream. The AI was good to look at, but it can be annoying, like when i try to kill those Imps, they just run away like a cowards. Maybe its because they want to find the place to climbing. And yes, these Imps actually climbing. Not to mention some enemy is big that it takes a big hits, if you wanna use a rocket launcher, a super shotgun, a plasma rifle or even a BFG 9000.

Speaking of climbing, the control is good, but a bit slippery from a camera (In my opinion when i played). Like any games, you can hold a trigger button to choose your weapons. Except for the chainsaw, you pick it up by pressing a button (like square for PS4), you can also use a side weapon like a frag grenade to the left button trigger (L1), even though its unlimited, but its recharging for some reason. You can press a pad of PS4, it shows a map, the upgrade of weapons, upgrade of special armor and even some description of weapons, Union Aerospace Corporation's stuff, monsters and more. There's also a rune, but i don't care, because most of them are hard to get a bonus.

As for the story, i was expecting to be like the original Doom or Doom 2, but it was completely different, but a bit like Doom 3. The plot is that you play as a Doom Marine (Rather than Doomguy for the name) who breaks free from the prison with his strength, which it appears that everyone zombi-- I mean these possesseds who's try to kill you. It turns out that the portal of hell was opened by an evil female worker name Olivia Pierce who refused to work with Dr Samuel Hayden for a research. Its up to you have to save UAC of Mars to close the portal and stop her.
I was a bit disappointed for the story, because it feels cliche about a worker who betrayed a boss for peace and turning into a villain to taking over the world. I prefer the first story where you have to fight them from their hellish threats.

Aside for a cool monsters designs, but the graphics is the weakest in the game, it feels like it was from Doom 3 with a slightly better. Which some texture of background is blurry and sometimes in hell if you're nearly finish level it gets all red. I mean, could you tone down of red background? But sometimes, the game has a glitches like when i fought those Imps, one of them is going on the floor of UAC or even when i fought Mancubus with my rocket launcher, he mouth is wide open and never move. But some others that it made me scared a bit like my camera went almost out of the world. They could've delayed the project to fix some parts in the game

There a few others like Snapmap, its an in-map game that it came up from Escalation Studios with their game called Severity, but it got cancelled due to a lack of publishers. Anyway, i find it an interesting idea, you can create your own map of multiplayer online or local game, nice touch. Finally there's multiplayer, its not much to say, it has a matches like "Deathmatch", domination, and others. Like before, it feels like Halo's online multiplayer matches a bit.

Overall, the game is above average, great gameplay, the enemies are cool and scary, the music is impressive and the weapons are great to be back, unless there's a new one that i was like "Meh, i never heard of.". Even though the story could've been creative, the graphics feels little bit dated, the glory kills are repetitive and some bonus like Runes is not my kind. But i have no idea why this game was cost $80 for a slightly disappointed game, it should be worth of $40, $50 or $60. Anything than 80 dollars, and the season pass is even worse, its also not worth of price like $55, it could've just make it to $20. I mean Cmon Bathesda, there's no reason to release this game with expensive price with combining together of $130 (A game with a season pass), that price is only belongs to a monopolized company like EA. I hate what they do that... But for some reason Bathesda felt embarrassed of a negative review that they want silence if the websites reviewers like IGN or Destructoid have a copy. Talk about a cowardly behavior, you need to accept the criticism  that the game has a problem like need to fix it with a patches.

Now i would've give an 8 for the rating, but i decided to tone down a bit with my official rating of 7/10.
Even though its nice to bring back, but not as fresher than the original Doom. Lets hope id will make a improvement sequel to have a better story and better graphics to learn their lesson.
